Congratulations to 23 Arts Education Summit Teams that completed their Action Plans and have each received a $500 Planning Grant from Colorado Council on the Arts (CCA). It is really exciting to see the Summit impacting all these schools and it will be even more gratifying to see the teams starting to put their plans into action with CCA’s help. In addition to the list of recipient schools below, check out the Summary of Strategies/Themes reflected in their Action Plans. This represents a great opportunity to share strategies, challenges and successes with Arts Education Planning. and we encourage remarks, comments and questions.
Teams - Please share your experiences following the Summit; getting your team together, completing your plan, submitting your request for a Planning Grant to Colorado Council on the Arts (CCA). Did you struggle to agree on a plan? Get support or resistance from your Principal over the application to CCA? What actions did you outline in your plan and how are they moving forward? What support or information do you need? What are you learning that can help other teams with their efforts?
