This Saturday May 10th, Fashion Denver will be putting on their 2nd Spring Fashion Show and Market at the Oriental Theater. This even it a must see for not only fashion, but for live bands as well as some late night dancing. We all love a reason to dress up and get out of the house and this is one place you will not be alone. This is a great place for those of you fired up for spring and a wardrobe makeover.

This event is from noon-7pm and the fashions shows will be taking place at 3pm and 6pm featuring over 25 local designers. You can also catch some live music from Japadapta, Uplifter, Bobby Collins, Andrea Ball, and Josh Novak, as well as art from Magnetic Mafia.

The after party begins at 8pm at the same place and they are tossing in some more live local acts including, Babah Wird, Jason Cain, Turbo Knife Fight, and B.Sous. After that comes the dance party with live DJ’s that will pull out all the stops.

Admission for this event is 5 bucks for the daytime and 5 bucks for the night time activities. The proceeds go to benefit Dress for Success, a local organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

The Oriental Theater is located at 4335 W. 44th Ave in the highland area. They have a great bar and food if you get hungry- or take a break and head out to any of the great Tennyson area restaurants.
