Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary and Kim surprised me with this awesome illustration.  She commissioned it from one of my favorite artists, Joe Alterio, of Robots and Monsters fame.  I mentioned Joe's amazing fund-raising illustrations here before, and even commissioned my own Carrot Revolution Mascot last year. The illustration Kim commissioned integrates our chinese zodiac symbols (the rabbit and tiger), some of our favorite artist tools, one brilliant robot, and a backdrop of one of our favorite China destinations, the mountains of Guilin.And speaking of the best wife ever... check out her brand spankin' new blog Art is Messy for her own unique perspective on art education!
