Every year that the Denver Starz Film Festival comes around you can count on
plenty to do. For the first time this year Starz has decided to inject more local
music into its events. This is great news for Denver, and the bands. The concept
was to provide a relaxed venue that would have not films, but music for the
locals, out-of-towners, and filmmakers to come listen enjoy and to see what this
music scene has to offer. The chosen bands are not only some of Denver's best,

The Starz Denver Film Festival
November 13th - 23rd

The Denver Film Society's 31st Starz Denver Film Festival (SDFF), will be held between Nov. 13-23, and is going to feature nearly 175 films representing the work of filmmakers from all corners of the globe. More than 150 film artists will be in attendance to introduce their works to film enthusiastics. Last year, which also marked their 30th anniversary, the SDFF had over 45 thousand attendees which was a 16% increase from 2006. Let's make this year even bigger!

Cinemocracy Rocks

The Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, the Denver Film Society, and the Denver 2008 Convention Host Committee will celebrate the Cinemocracy Film Festival’s top 10 films at Cinemocracy Rocks! Open to the public, the event will be held at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Monday, August 25, beginning at 6 p.m.

Earth Day Coast to Coast
The Green Apple Festival : Denver

The third annual Green Apple Festival announced itself as “America’s largest Earth Day celebration.” This one-day environmental awareness festival culminated in Denver on Sunday, April 20th with the same free festivals occurring simultaneously at landmark parks in New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Miami, and Los Angeles.
